ARC: Spring travel to Caribbean, Mexico growing steadily

Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) stated (07-May-2018) air ticket sales for spring travel over the last four years to destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico is growing steadily, up 18% since 2014. Despite devastating hurricanes in late 2017, air ticket purchases to areas less impacted remain very strong in 2018. Spring travel to the Bahamas increased 24% while the Dominican Republic and Mexico increased 12% and 11% respectively. And while air ticket sales to Jamaica increased 4%, Puerto Rico saw a 27% year-on-year decrease in sales in 2018.
