Airlines Reporting Corp (ARC) reported (15-Feb-2018) the average US ticket price for Jan-2018 decreased approximately 2% to USD458 year-on-year, continuing the trend of decreasing average ticket prices since 2015. The consolidated dollar value of airline tickets sold by US-based travel agencies increased 8.4%, totalling USD8.4 billion.
