ANA to cancel 113 domestic services in Jul-2018 due to Rolls-Royce engine inspections

All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced 113 domestic services will be cancelled between 06-Jul-2018 and 12-Jul-2018, to allow for mandatory Rolls-Royce engines inspections ordered by the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (Bloomberg/Jiji Press/Agencies, 04/05-Jul-2018). The cancellations will impact around 21,000 passengers. The carrier has 138 Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines on its Boeing 787 fleet. ANA said that progress on a fix for the affected engines has been hampered by a global shortage of replacement parts.
