ANA Airports of Portugal fails to meet first deadline for Lisbon Airport expansion: Report

ANA Airports of Portugal is reportedly delayed on the design process for the expansion of Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport(Jornal de Negocios, 05-Sep-2017). The concessionaire was supposed to present an expansion project proposal with financial estimates in Aug-2017, which did not happen. Portugal‘s Government is scheduled to approve or reject the proposal in 2H2018. As previously reported by CAPA, TAP Portugal is extremely concerned with the lack of motion from the parties involved in the process, clarifying that TAP Portugal’s expansion depends on Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport‘s capacity and non-saturation.
