Here are the key executive changes for Feb-2020;

  • Viva Air Group announced the official appointment of Stephen Rapp as Viva Air Perú CEO;
  • JetBlue Airways announced the following executive appointments, effective 14-Feb-2020:
    • Dave Fintzen appointed as VP of investor relations;
    • Andrea Lusso appointed as VP of network planning;
    • Sophia Mendelsohn appointed as VP of sustainability and environmental social governance.
  • WestJet appointed John Weatherill as VP of network planning and alliances, effective 14-Feb-2020;
  • Southwest Airlines announced SVP of air operations Craig Drew will retire and transition to a consultant role. VP of flight operations Alan Kasher was promoted to the position of SVP of air operations, and flight operations senior director of compliance and operations Bob Waltz was promoted to the position of VP of flight operations;
  • WestJet appointed Sarah Walker as VP financial planning and analysis and Jennifer Bue as VP controller;
  • Delta Air Lines announced the following executive changes, effective 01-Mar-2020:
    • Gareth Joyce appointed as chief sustainability officer;
    • Eric Phillips appoints as SVP of airport customer service and cargo;
    • Erik Snell appointed as head of corporate planning.
  • Swoop appointed Bert van der Stege as head of commercial, effective 24-Feb-2020;
  • FedEx appointed Michael C Lenz as CFO, succeeding EVP and CFO Alan B Graf Jr who will retire effective 31-Dec-2020. Mr Graf will serve as CFO until 22-Sep-2020 and will remain at the company as EVP and senior advisor until the end of 2020 to ensure a smooth transition.
