American Express Meetings & Events boosts its Meetings Marketplace with additional technology partnerships

American Express Meetings & Events (Amex M&E) has expanded its attendee engagement portfolio via new partnerships with leading mobile event tool, Attendify, and the world’s first event marketing automation platform, Splash. These add to an existing partnership with DoubleDutch that has now been renewed and extended.

With these new partners, clients of Amex M&E, a division of American Express Global Business Travel (GBT), will now have a more robust suite of solutions available to improve attendee engagement. Attendify and Splash join DoubleDutch as key solutions within the Meetings Marketplace, a vetted collection of Amex M&E’s technology solutions.

DoubleDutch has been supporting Amex M&E with mobile attendee experience solutions for clients with what are described as “mature and robust meetings and events programmes”. Its event management platform transforms live events by creating attendee experiences that foster networking and generate valuable insights and this engagement data will now be positioned within the Meetings Insights, centralised data platform.

Additionally, the renewed agreement now integrates travel data into event apps to create “a one-stop shop” for attendees travelling to their event, providing a more seamless and integrated attendee experience. This includes new features, including personalised content for attendees, safety check prompts and advanced surveys.

The new technology partners of Attendify and Splash will provide solutions that will complement this established and expanded agreement with DoubleDutch.

Attendify offers technology solutions to customers with simpler meeting needs, including an intuitive app creator and a data analytics platform that enables meaningful engagement with attendees. Through these apps, attendees can access agendas and presentations, speaker and sponsor information, and more. These meeting apps are customisable, simple to build and easy to use.

Splash allows event planners to launch, promote, and scale sophisticated event programmes through consolidated attendee management and customised event marketing. They can help to maximise ROI of events by driving the right people to them using Splash’s smart guest lists, responsive event pages and emails, and on-site check-in functionality. Splash also enables planners to capture real-time data.
