American Airlines retires E190s and 767s, accelerates retirement of CRJ200s, 757s and A330-300s

American Airlines announced (30-Apr-2020) the official retirement of its Embraer E190 and Boeing 767 fleets, originally scheduled to retire by the end of 2020. It is also accelerating the retirement of its 757s and A330-300s, and Bombardier CRJ200s operated by PSA Airlines. As of 01-Jan-2020, American Airlines operated 20 E190s, 17 767-300ERs, 34 757-200s, nine A330-300s and 19 CRJ200s. These changes will result in less complex operations and further cost savings.
