American Airlines 'pleased' with UAE and Qatar open skies negotiations

American Airlines CEO Doug Parker, speaking to Gulf News on the sidelines of the IATA AGM and World Air Transport Summit, stated (03-Jun-2018) the carrier is "very pleased with the result of the talks between the US government and the UAE and Qatar, and we are grateful for what the US government was able to accomplish there". He commented: "We are fans of global trade and free trade, so we always get concerned when you start to see tensions elevate around free trade and global trade".
