American Airlines completes installation of high speed satellite WiFi on mainline narrowbody fleet

American Airlines completed (17-Jun-2019) installation of high speed satellite WiFi and live TV connectivity on its entire fleet of more than 700 narrowbody mainline aircraft. The airline "now offers customers access to high speed satellite WiFi and live TV on more aircraft than any other airline". American is installing personal device charging outlets "at every seat across its mainline fleet" and its two class regional fleet and plans to retrofit most of its narrowbody fleet with tablet holders to enable hands free entertainment.
