Amadeus to take 95% stake in Hiberus Travel to boost tour operator solution set

Amadeus announced (22-Mar-2018) it is increasing its stake in Hiberus Travel, a tour operator technology provider, from 24.88% to 95%. Amadeus IT Group VP of EMEA Joost Schuring said Hiberus Travel's suite of products cover a broad range of tour operator's' needs and fit well with Amadeus' solution set, "which is also an important component of our broader vision for travel sellers worldwide". Hiberus Travel's technology will be "key in helping us assist tour operators and other travel sellers to improve their operations and expand their business" added Mr Schuring.
