Allegiant Air launches aircraft base at Allentown Lehigh Valley International Airport

Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority executive director Tom Stoudt commented on Allegiant Air's new aircraft base at Allentown Lehigh Valley International Airport, stating: "The great thing about having an aircraft base here is that we can try a destination out and if it doesn't work, we can try something different" (The Morning Call, 13-Feb-2020). As previously reported by CAPA, Allegiant Air invested USD50 million in the establishment of an operations base at the airport, which commenced operations on 13-Feb-2020 with the launch of Allentown-Sarasota service.
