All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced (19-Mar-2019) plans to implement the following ANA FAST TRAVEL measures at Okinawa Naha Airport, commencing 20-Mar-2019:
- Installation of inline baggage screening system facilities;
- Installation of special assistance counter;
- Improve layout of check in counters, self service check in kiosks and self service baggage drop off devices to reduce congestion;
- Install automated baggage drop off devices.
Okinawa will be the fourth airport to deploy ANA FAST TRAVEL measures, following Tokyo Haneda Airport, Sapporo Chitose Airport and Fukuoka Airport. [more - original PR - Japanese]
