All Nippon Airways launches daily Tokyo Narita-Perth service

Perth Airport welcomed (01-Sep-2019) the launch of All Nippon Airways' daily Tokyo Narita-Perth service on 01-Sep-2019. Perth Airport CEO Kevin Brown commented: "Japan has become Perth's tenth largest international visitor market with 29,000 Japanese visitors arriving into WA each year, contributing AUD58 million (USD40 million) to the economy". The service is the first direct route between Perth and Japan since 2011, and is expected to increase Japanese tourist numbers to Western Australia by 76,000 p/a and contribute AUD175.5 million (USD118.1 million) to the economy over the next three years.
