Alitalia has right to buy back Heathrow slots from Etihad: Insolvency commissioner

Alitalia insolvency commissioner Luigi Gubitosi informed an Italian Senate hearing on the terms of its sale of slots at London Heathrow Airport to Etihad Airways, conducted in Jul-2016 for EUR40 million (il Sole 24 Ore, 29-May-2018). Under the terms of the arrangement, Alitalia "has the right to recover the slots at any time for the same price for 10 years", Mr Gubitosi said.
