Alaska Airlines to launch 10 domestic services, plans for 'future growth' at Los Angeles

Alaska Airlines announced (16-Jul-2020) plans to launch the following services:

  • Los Angeles-Eugene: Daily from 01-Oct-2020 with Embraer E175;
  • Los Angeles-Medford: Daily from 01-Oct-2020 with E175;
  • Los Angeles-Bozeman: Daily from 20-Nov-2020 with E175;
  • Los Angeles-Fort Myers: Four times weekly from 20-Nov-2020 with Boeing 737;
  • Los Angeles-Tampa: Daily from 20-Nov-2020 with 737;
  • Los Angeles-Kona: Three times weekly from 17-Dec-2020 with 737;
  • Los Angeles-Lihue: Four times weekly from 18-Dec-2020 with 737;
  • Portland-Fort Lauderdale: Four times weekly from 20-Nov-2020 with 737;
  • Seattle-Fort Myers: Four times weekly from 21-Nov-2020 with 737;
  • San Diego-Fort Lauderdale: Three times weekly from 21-Nov-2020 with 737.

Alaska Airlines will operate to 35 destinations from Los Angeles in winter 2020, and anticipates a strong platform for future growth. Alaska Airlines MD of capacity planning and alliances Brett Catlin stated: "LAX is one of Alaska's important hub markets and continues to offer valuable opportunities for selective expansion".
