Airports of Thailand (AoT) forecast revenue to decline by 50.7% year-on-year in 2020 and 42.4% in 2021 as a result of COVID-19 (Reuters/Skift, 17-Jun-2020). It also expects passenger volumes to reach 144.2 million by 2023, slightly above pre COVID-19 levels. AoT stated: "Such forecasts are based on the assumption that a second wave of COVID-19 infections still strike different countries targeted for making bilateral agreements on a travel bubble with Thailand".
