NOTE: The Aug-2018 performance highlights the impact of damage to the airport’s runway, taxiway, passenger terminal, baggage handling system, security screening equipment and solar power plant facilities due to flooding during the month and its closure from 15-Aug-2018 to 29-Aug-2018. Cochin International Airport Ltd has reportedly filed an INR3.4 billion (USD46.8 million) insurance claim with New India Insurance for flood related infrastructure damage.
