Airnorth CEO Daniel Dowden stated the carrier plans to increase Toowoomba-Townsville frequency from three to four times weekly, with a new Sunday service from 03-Jun-2018, due to high demand on the sector (Townsville Bulletin, 09-Jan-2018). "Townsville is an important market for Airnorth and how we intend on supporting it is through helping more customers arrive safely and with greater frequency during the dry season," Mr Bowden said.
