Airlines for America commends omnibus bill 'holding the line' against 'unnecessary tax hikes'

Airlines for America (A4A) commended (21-Mar-2018) an omnibus bill produced in the US House and Senate that funds the federal government and holds "the line" against "unnecessary tax hikes" on passengers as well as "misguided, anti-consumer provisions". Congress rejected the proposed doubling of the passenger facility charge but provides airports with an additional USD1 billion in addition to the authorised USD3.3 billion in airport improvement programme funding.
