WestJet’s mainline operations are complemented by its wholly owned regional affiliate WestJet Encore (IATA: WR; ICAO: WJE) which launched operations on 24-Jun-2013 utilising a fleet of Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 equipment mainly on underserved regional services which would not otherwise be viable using WestJet’s larger Boeing 737 fleet.
