Airbus CEO: No change in the level of demand for the A320neo from 737 MAX issues

Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury reported there has been no change in the level of demand for the A320neo since the global grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX, noting that Airbus has a “very strong backlog for the A320neo and we are limited by the supply chain”. According to Mr Faury, there is also a minimal overlap in the supply chain between the A320neo and the 737 MAX, which means that Boeing’s decision to temporarily lower 737 output has no direct benefit.
