AirAsia X to increase Kuala Lumpur-Gold Coast frequency in Dec-2018/Jan-2019

AirAsia X announced (17-Sep-2018) plans to increase Kuala Lumpur-Gold Coast frequency from seven to 11 times weekly between 13-Dec-2018 and 12-Jan-2019, in response to growing demand. The airline will operate 18 additional frequencies during the period, adding more than 13,000 seats. Gold Coast Airport COO Marion Charlton commented: "Thanks to AirAsia we are seeing more travellers from key international visitor markets like China, Japan and India come to the Gold Coast through Kuala Lumpur.
