AirAsia to operate additional routes at full seat capacity from Jul-2020

AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes reported AirAsia will operate services across its entire domestic network at full seat capacity from Jul-2020, according to government guidelines (Reuters/Malay Mail, 15-Jun-2020). Mr Fernandes stated: "As for the frequency, that will depend on demand", adding: "At the moment, it's within Malaysia, but we would like to believe that we would be opening [flights] to other countries soon". He also reported plans to expand the group's cargo business by using aircraft "to get farmers to extend their market beyond the local area that they operate in".
