Air Zimbabwe in talks to secure 'new modern aircraft': report

Air Zimbabwe communications officer Firstme Vitori reportedly confirmed the airline has only two operational aircraft and stated: "This fleet is not commensurate with the market demand on the current route network, notwithstanding other expansion plans contained in the turnaround strategy" (The Sunday Mail, 08-Apr-2018). Ms Vitori reportedly said discussions are underway to secure "new modern aircraft" with "assistance and guidance" from Zimbabwe's Government.
