10 July, 2018

Air Vanuatu completed (10-Jul-2018) a VAV55 million (USD495,000) exterior and interior upgrade of one of its Twin Otter aircraft (YJ-AV11), operated on domestic routes. The airline imported new parts from Canada to replace sections of the aircraft's structure and updated most instruments on the flight deck. The aircraft was also repainted and underwent an cabin refresh. Work was completed in Vanuatu, making this the largest aircraft engineering project ever completed in the country.
