Air Premia reported (09-Apr-2019) it will take delivery of the first of three Boeing 787-9s leased from Air Lease Corporation in Jul-2020. The second aircraft will be delivered in Sep-2020, and the third in Nov-2020. Air Premia plans to operate 10 Boeing 787-9s within five years. Further aircraft deliveries are due to be confirmed in 2Q2019. Air Premia plans to launch service in Sep-2020, two months after it expect to receive its air operator certificate. The airline intends to operate long haul service from 2021, with initial destinations including Los Angeles and San Jose. Other target destinations for Air Premia include Honolulu and Vancouver.
