Air Peace receives first 777, planning international services

Air Peace, via its official Facebook and Twitter accounts, announced (24-Feb-2018) the delivery of one Boeing 777-200 aircraft (5N-BVE) on 23-Feb-2018. The 274 seat aircraft is configured with first class, business class and economy class seats. The airline is the first Nigerian carrier to procure and register a 777. The 777-200 is the first of two 777s recently acquired by the airline and the carrier is finalising talks to add another two 777s. The second aircraft will be a 777-300. The new aircraft will be used to commence services to international destinations, including Dubai, Guangzhou, Houston, Johannesburg, London, Mumbai and Sharjah. CEO Allen Onyema said: "Air Peace is ready to begin operations on these routes as soon as we get the cooperation of our aviation agencies, our home governments, and the outside governments of the countries we are going to".
