Air Peace CEO: Nigerian airlines 'over taxed' and 'over charged'

Air Peace CEO Allen Onyema said the competitiveness of Nigerian airlines is negatively impacted by high fees and taxes in Nigeria and high airport charges in other West African countries (This Day, 23-Mar-2018). Mr Onyema said the airline is yet to commence Abidjan service due to the high fees. He commented: "We are over taxed here in Nigeria and we are also over charged by other countries in the region".
