Air NZ to increase Auckland-Gold Coast seat capacity 60% with A321neo from Feb-2019

    Air New Zealand announced (13-Nov-2018) plans to increase Auckland-Gold Coast frequency from four to five times weekly, effective Feb-2019. The carrier also plans to deploy new 214 seat A321neo aircraft on the route, increasing seat capacity by 46 over A320 aircraft and increasing total available seats on the route by 60% with the fifth frequency. As previously reported by CAPA, AirAsia X plans to suspend daily Gold Coast-Auckland sector, effective 11-Feb-2019.
