Air Niugini confirmed it will resume operations to Kieta Aropa Airport effective 07-May-2019, following the completion of a photovoltaic power supply system for the airport's Precision Path Indicator lights (Aviation Tribune, 05-May-2019). The carrier will operate twice weekly to the airport, with Fokker 100 aircraft.
