Air Niugini confirms E195-E2 as a potential replacement for Fokker fleet

Air Niugini, via its official Facebook account, confirmed (23-Jul-2019) MD Alan Milne requested Embraer operate a flight to Port Moresby with E195-E2 equipment to assess the aircraft's potential to replace the carrier's Fokker fleet. According to the carrier, Mr Milne "is also looking at options from various manufacturers from around the world". The airline noted the E195-E2 could deliver "massive cost savings" as its operating costs are 25% less than the carrier's Fokkers.
