Air Niugini received IATA Ground Operations Manual (IGOM) certification earlier in Nov-2017, following a month's review of its ground operations manuals and work by the carrier's ground operations, engineering, flight operations, cargo, catering and aviation security segments, confirming they met IATA standards (Post and Courier, 29-Nov-2017). Air Niugini is the second carrier in the South West Pacific region to receive IGOM certification, after Air Calin.
