Air New Zealand to raise capacity to Houston for northern winter 2018

    Air New Zealand announced (11-Oct-2017) plans to increase Auckland-Houston frequency from five times weekly to daily for most of the 2018 northern winter schedule. From 25-Mar-2018 to 27-Oct-2018, the route will increase to a mix of daily service and six frequencies per week, a capacity increase of 16,000 seats over this period. The airline will also deploy its newly configured Boeing 787-9 aircraft on Auckland-Houston from Dec-2017, the first time the Dreamliner will regularly service one of Air New Zealand’s North American routes.
