Air New Zealand announced (24-Aug-2020) it is supportive of the New Zealand Government mandating the wearing of face masks or face coverings on public transport, including aircraft, from 31-Aug-2020. Air New Zealand CEO Greg Foran said customers flying from Auckland have been required to wear masks while it has been at Alert Level 3 and it has been recommended for customers travelling from other ports.
