Air New Zealand plays ‘a key role for the nation’s export industry’: General manager Cargo

    Air New Zealand announced (17-Dec-2018) plans to transport more than 700 tonnes of lamb to the UK and more than 1000 tonnes of Central Otago cherries to Asia and the US in the lead up to the Christmas holiday period. “We play a key role for the nation’s export industry, carrying around 3.2 million kilograms of meat such as lamb, beef and venison to export markets annually via our extensive global cargo network, with the holiday season being one of our busiest times”, Air New Zealand general manager Cargo Rick Nelson said.
