Air New Zealand partners with Microsoft, Moog and ST Engineering

Air New Zealand entered (10-Apr-2019) a partnership with Moog, Microsoft and ST Engineering to leverage 3D printing processes to create a digital supply chain. The 3D printing equipment aims to allow airlines to obtain parts within hours and avoid costs associated with purchasing, shipping and storing physical parts. Air New Zealand tested the concept with ST Engineering on the carrier's Boeing 777-300 aircraft where a business premier monitor bumper part was installed before scheduled departure.
