Air New Zealand offers discounted fares to Jetstar passengers

Air New Zealand commenced (25-Sep-2019) offering discounted airfares to passengers affected by Jetstar's plans to withdraw its regional services. Affected Jetstar customers will be eligible to purchase an Air New Zealand seat only fare for the same route on the same day for no more than NZD39 (USD24.4) to NZD49 (USD30.7) each way. Air New Zealand chief revenue officer Cam Wallace reported the carrier will "evaluate the demand outlook on the affected Jetstar routes and determine whether we have the flexibility within our current fleet to add more capacity".
