Air New Zealand announced (12-Dec-2018) it reached an agreement in principle with Air New Zealand Logistics and Engineering union representatives, which includes lifting of strike notices previously planned for 21/22/23-Dec-2018, pending union member ratification. Air New Zealand chief ground operations officer Carrie Hurihanganui said details of the agreement are currently unable to be discussed pending ratification, however acknowledged "the good faith in which the negotiations had been conducted in helping achieve this outcome for travellers".
