Air New Zealand extends limited schedule

14 April, 2020

Air New Zealand extended (11-Apr-2020) the timeframe for its significantly reduced network by one month, with minimal international operations until 30-Jun-2020. All services are subject to change as governments continue to introduce or change travel and border restrictions. Overall international capacity has been reduced by 95% from pre-coronavirus levels. Details include:

  • Auckland-Sydney: Three times weekly;
  • Auckland-Brisbane: Twice weekly;
  • Auckland-Melbourne: Twice weekly;
  • Auckland-Rarotonga: Weekly;
  • Auckland-Niue: Weekly;
  • Sydney-Norfolk: Weekly;
  • Brisbane-Norfolk: Weekly;
  • Auckland-Los Angeles: Three times weekly;
  • Auckland-Hong Kong: Twice weekly;
  • Auckland-Shanghai: Three times weekly;

Samoa, Tonga and Fiji are not permitting international services. If these restrictions end, Air New Zealand is likely to operate a weekly frequency from Auckland. [more - original PR]
