Air New Zealand confirmed airfares would increase by up to 5% due to rising fuel and operational costs (News Talk ZB, 11-Jun-2018). In an advice to travel agents, Air New Zealand confirmed the airfare rise across its entire international network including some long haul routes to the US, Canada, Argentina and Asia, which would increase by more than NZD100 (USD70). As previously reported by CAPA, Air New Zealand has already announced a 5% increase in domestic airfares for similar reasons.
