Air New Zealand reportedly set the price for access to inflight WiFi for short haul flights to Australia and the Pacific Islands at NZD25 (USD16.96) per passenger, down from its initial price of NZD40 (USD27.13) per passenger (traveltalk.nz, 12-Jul-2018). Access will also be available at a rate of NZD9 (USD6.10) per hour. The carrier has outfitted six of its Boeing 777 aircraft with the necessary technology, with the remaining 10 to have installations completed by Mar-2019. The carrier's Boeing 787 fleet will be equipped by early 2020.
