Air Mediterranean relaunches on ACMI basis, will conduct scheduled services later in 2018

    Air Mediterranean announced (30-Mar-2018) it has “completed a reorganisation and refinancing, putting the airline on solid ground as it moves successfully forward”. As previously reported by CAPA, the company had temporarily suspended operations in mid to late Jan-2018. The existing fleet of three aircraft are now operating on a charter/ACMI basis, with two aircraft being based in Heraklion and the third based in Larnaca. “Scheduled flights will begin operating summer of 2018 with two additional aircraft being added to Air Mediterranean’s fleet”, the company added.
