Civil Aviation Authority of Macau (CAAM) reportedly decided not to renew Air Macau's concession agreement following its expiry in Nov-2020 (Macau News Agency/Airsoc, 16-Jan-2019). The 25 year monopoly agreement allows Air Macau to be the sole operator of services to and from Macau. CAAM reportedly reached the decision following a study with input from external consultants, which recommended diversification of Macau's aviation market.
