Air Liaison ready to 'accelerate' network expansion following Air Canada's contraction of service

21 July, 2020

Air Liaison director of operatives affairs Pierre Tremblay said the carrier had "already planned to fly to Trudeau [Montreal] before Air Canada pulled out", and now intends to "accelerate the process" (skiesmag.com, 20-Jul-2020). Mr Tremblay said the carrier is willing to acquire "bigger planes" if needed, explaining: "If we put the effort into improving our network, we expect to have the support of authorities in each of the regions involved. The goal is to find a long term solution. If we put money into buying new planes, we need guarantees that Air Canada will not come back".
