Air India to allocate USD72m to repair and redeploy grounded aircraft

Air India reportedly plans to allocate INR5 billion (USD71.7 million) in the near future to repair and redeploy grounded aircraft (Indian Express, 24-Apr-2019). The airline has 19 grounded aircraft at present, including at least four Boeing 777s, as well as 787s, 747s and A320s. Air India expects to commence redeployment of the aircraft by Aug-2019.
