Air Frontier, via its official Facebook account, opened (01-Dec-2019) a base in the Tiwi Islands on 01-Dec-2019 to provide "a much cheaper and efficient way to travel between the communities and into Darwin". The carrier has based one pilot and one Cessna 210 at Bathurst Island for both freight and charter services.
