Air France CEO Benjamin Smith stated the company plans to reduce its fleet of A380s from 10 to five aircraft (LesEchos.fr/Business Traveller/Airline Geeks, 24-Nov-2018). Five of the 10 aircraft are currently leased. The airline plans to return the first two A380s to the lessor when their contract expires in 2019. The carrier will continue to operate the remaining three aircraft until their lease expires.
