Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic launch expanded JV

Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic launched (03-Feb-2020) an expanded JV offering an extended range of routes and loyalty options when travelling between Europe, the UK and North America. Effective 13-Feb-2020, passengers will be able to earn and spend miles or use elite benefits for services on any of the four airlines' global operations, including trans Atlantic, intra Europe or domestic US journeys, offering more opportunities to move through loyalty tiers and reach a higher status. Eligible Elite FFP members can also enjoy priority boarding at more than 100 airport lounges when travelling internationally. The expanded JV also provides the flexibility to book fares on any of the four carriers through their respective mobile apps, websites or via travel agents. The enhanced network is also available to cargo customers and is built around the carriers' hubs in Amsterdam, Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, London Heathrow, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York JFK, Paris, Seattle and Salt Lake City, creating nonstop or one stop connections across North America, Europe and the UK.
