Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Virgin Atlantic Airways launched (04-Mar-2019) a codeshare partnership agreement. Virgin Atlantic will codeshare on 58 new routes connecting 18 airports in the UK to destinations in North America, via Paris and Amsterdam. New route options for Virgin Atlantic customers will include Edinburgh-Amsterdam-Toronto and London Heathrow-Paris-Chicago. Air France and KLM will codeshare on 24 new routes between the UK and North America, operated by Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines. The codeshare partnership "is a significant milestone towards the expanded joint venture between Delta, Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic" scheduled to be established later in 2019.
