Air France-KLM announced (26-Mar-2018) Air France joined the KLM-Kenya Airways JV from 25-Mar-2018. KLM and Kenya Airways have partnered since 1995. The new JV will offer travellers 24 weekly frequencies between Paris, Amsterdam and Nairobi. Details include:
- Air France: Commenced three times weekly Paris CDG-Nairobi service with Boeing 787-9 aircraft on 25-Mar-2018;
- Kenya Airways: Continue seven times weekly Nairobi-Paris CDG and Nairobi-Amsterdam services;
- KLM: Continue seven times weekly Amsterdam-Nairobi service.
The Air France-KLM group will offer 51 African destinations with 489 weekly services in summer 2018. Aside from Air France and KLM, Transavia offers 15 destinations and 146 frequencies while Joon offers two destinations and 10 frequencies. [more - original PR]
